Commercial driving

Today I am traveling up to San Francisco for a week long commercial shot. We did 4 days in the LA area and now it is time to move up north. It is called running footage. We got 22 Dodge, Chrysler and Jeeps that we are filming in different areas. Then they can pull out footage out of that film bank and make different commercials over the next year or so. We have been in Angels Crest Mountains. Super nice roads. Perfect for drifting, that’s for sure. It was also fun to be driving in the LA River. The concrete river thru LA. It was nasty and slippery, but fun drifting with the 2008, 600hp Viper. I do like the new SRT-4 Caliber. That car had great handling. The only thing I did not like was the turbo leg. But that could have been the film car not being up to date. But over all my favorite and surprise is the Cherokee Jeep SRT-8. That SUV is FAST. And it sticks to the road too. I am thinking about getting one for me and Stina. I will try to get some pictures posted in the near future.

I had the opportunity to chase Uma Thurman in this commercial. I had a blast doing this sequence. My Buddy Sean Graham was the guy in the old car trying to kill her.

Commercial with Uma Thurman

What a fun day I had on Sunday. I got to do a commercial playing a cop. Chasing Uma Thurman down the streets of Long Beach. She was in a Lamborghini and me and my Police partner in an Old Ford cop car with machine guns shooting at her. We had two uso, one M16 and several hand guns. A great experience and a lot of fun. I was supposed to drift this crappie old cop car but it had a engine problem, so we had to cut that part out of the picture. Keep your eyes open for it and let me know if you see a yellow Lamborghini getting chased down.
